Board Meeting Minutes from 11 September 2023

(On-Site Meeting at 1678 Victoria Way-Jeanne Yazinski’s House)

Board Member Attendees:   Jeanne Yazinski (President), Tera Pauley (Vice President)-By Phone, Mike Pastor (Secretary), Heather Peery (Community Oversight Committee Chairperson).

Board Members Absent: Dexter Blois (Treasurer), Matt Gillis, Martin Isales

Resident Attendees: None

The meeting was called to order at 6:55 PM.  This meeting was audio recorded by Mike to aid minutes preparation.

Secretary’s Report

        The August 14, 2023, Board Meeting Minutes were e-mailed to board members this morning (9/11/23) at 6:21 AM.  Heather made a motion to approve, and Jeanne seconded the motion.  It was approved unanimously.

Treasurer’s Report

        Dexter sent the report on 09/04/23. Jeanne stated::

Account Balances as of 08/31/2023 were:

Checking:   $11,637    Savings:   $13,534      Fidelity (Money Mkt):   $30,667 

Jeanne made a motion to accept the Treasurer’s Report and Mike seconded the motion.  It was approved unanimously.

Jeanne indicated Dexter will be back from Massachusetts at the end of October, but will join us by phone for the October Board meeting and will have a proposed tentative budget for that meeting.

Heather indicated she will recommend common area mulching and tree trimming (11 oak trees) for the 2024 budget

VIOLATIONS:

1569 Victoria Wy - Fence repair – A Violation Notice/Letter was sent.
1551 Victoria Wy - Vines on pool cage/home, leaves on roof, landscape cleanup (some progress made).  Since this is a continual repetitious problem, a notice will be sent to indicate each time it becomes a violation again, it’ll go straight to the Fines Committee to eliminate the warnings & letters over and over again.
1536 Cashiers Dr – Weed cleanup (2nd notice).
1637 Malcolm Point Dr - Sidewalk cleaning (2nd notice).
1600 Malcolm Point Dr – Trash cans left out

Miscellaneous:

Multiple homeowners are leaving trash cans out.  We’ll begin cracking down before it becomes rampant.

OLD BUSINESS
 

Community Yard Sale will be Saturday, October 21st. 1-Day Only like in the past.

Luminaries: Saturday, December 9th.

NEW BUSINESS

None.

The next H.O.A. Board Meeting will be held on Monday, October 2nd, 2023 at 7:00 PM, at Jeanne’s house at 1678 Victoria Way. We will discuss the budget and dues for 2024.

Adjournment – Mike moved we adjourn, Jeanne seconded it. All Board Members agreed.  The meeting adjourned at 7:03 PM.
