Tuscany HOA Monthly Board Meeting
May 11, 2020
(via Webex call-in virtual meeting)
1. Meeting was called to order at 7:10 pm by Stephen Jones, President
Board Member Attendees: Stephen Jones, Jeanne Yazinski, Monica Lepp, Andy Horne, Mike Pastor, Randy Mears, Larry Ort
Resident Attendee: Dexter Blois
2. April's Meeting minutes were distributed earlier via emailed by Mike Pastor, Secretary, and unanimously approved tonight.
3. Financial Report and Budget was emailed to board members by Jeanne Yazinski (outgoing Treasurer) and Monica Lepp, Incoming Treasurer
- Savings Account Balance (As of today ) is $45,508.46
- Checking Account Balance (As of today ) is $18,997.54
- Unpaid Dues declined from $2,608 in April to $1,560 since one resident agreed to pay current and past due Dues, plus $420 in the attorney fees paid by H.O.A. to file related lien.
- Hurst Lawn & Ornamental (Common Area Fertilizing & Pest Control) was billed & paid for 2020
4. ARB Review - Larry Ort, Community Oversight Committee
- New Non-violations (Written requests issued): NONE (no Tuscany neighborhood reviews were conducted due to the Corona Virus and related stay at home orders for Covid-19
- Current Violations: NONE
- Previous Outstanding Violations: NONE
- Previous Non-Violations: Both residents resolved/completed these
- Fence needing repair or replacement COMPLETED
- Trash cans, door & miscellaneous item removal as to not be visible from the street COMPLETED
- Lawn of the Month: Awarded to the Smith's at 1507 Cashiers Drive (Congratulations and Thank You)
- ARB Requests Received & Approved consisted of: Oak tree removal, New roof shingles (2), Landscaping, House repainting (2), and removal of a porch banister top & bottom
- General problems, requests, corrective action(s) taken: In April, the homeowner notified Larry that some Tuscany common area palms were invading their property on Thornbury Ct. On 4/14/20 Larry Ort cut back the palms, removed broken limbs and trimmed low branches behind all the homes on Thornbury Ct.
5. New Business
- Poor yard upkeep concerns raised for 1200 Thornbury Ct. Recently sold to a holding company and pending sale to new homeowner suspected concerns are being communicated and addressed
6. Open Business
- Bowersox - resolution pending
