Tuscany HOA Board Meeting

Monday, June 11, 2018

 

Board Member Attendees: Sandra Wilt, Jeanne Yazinski, Kristen Gordon, Mike Pastor, Larry Ort

Committee Attendees: Heather Peery

Meeting called to order at 6:35 PM by Sandra Wilt.

Minutes of last meeting: Kristen Gordon will share May minutes for approval via e-mail.

Treasurer's Report by Jeanne Yazinski:

  • Checking Balance: $21,373.98
  • Savings Balance: $34,469.91
  • 2 homeowners still delinquent on HOA fees - $1,043.84
  • Under budget on most things and still extra money on landscaping if we want to do more in future.
  • Motion to accept the Treasurer Report by Mike Pastor and second by Larry Ort.

Community Oversight Committee Report by Larry Ort:

  • Overview/review sheet of Community Oversight/ARB/CC&R given to all residents on 5/15/18.
  • Walkthrough done on 5/26, no initial write-ups, casual walkthrough/first pass to sync up feedback so there is a consistent approach by the committee.
  • Several ARB requests including fence replacements, front door replacements, removal of trees due to home fractures (approved by City of Winter Garden), home repainting and other minor landscaping issues (all approved).

Landscape Report by Sandra Wilt:

  • Radfords called with landscaping issue behind house; old landscape company didn't care for landscape around pond behind their house. Sandra & Larry will walk through to determine what action is needed and will report back.

New Business:

  • Yard of the Month: Samantha & William Alcabes (1637 Malcolm Point Dr.)
  • HOA Board Meeting Proposal
    • Proposal to move to bi-monthly HOA board meetings with special meetings as needed if anything pressing arises.
    • Sandra will review the by-laws to ensure that we are able to change the meeting cadence and how to post notice of change to Tuscany residents.
    • Sandra Wilt motions to make change, Jeanne Yazinski seconds proposal. All in favor of change.
  • Front lights by the Horsley's stay on, something may be blocking sensor, which Larry will check. May need sensor replacement but will check to see if trimming needed first.
  • Sandra will call to reserve the pavilion at Chapin Station Park for November Tuscany Picnic in the Park, to be held on Sunday, November 4, 2018.
