Tuscany HOA Board Meeting
Monday, May 7, 2018
Board Member Attendees: Sandra Wilt, Jeanne Yazinski, Kristen Gordon, Mike Pastor, Andrew Horne, Larry Ort
Meeting called to order at 6:35 PM by Sandra Wilt.
Minutes of last meeting: None available - April meeting was cancelled.
Treasurer's Report by Jeanne Yazinski:
- Checking Balance: $22,385.04
- Savings Balance: $36,468.37
- Taxes done & filed in April by Jeanne (nothing owed but must file)
- 2 homeowners delinquent on HOA fees - $1,028.13
- All liability insurance for HOA updated and current:
o Living Water (Irrigation)
o Hurst (Lawn Maintenance)
o Solitude (Lake Management)
* Having issues, bills with no proof of being here
* Contract says we will pay upon receipt of service report
* Agree we shouldn't pay until they have performed services
* Jeanne will follow up
o Imperial (Landscaping)
- Motion to accept the Treasurer Report by Mike Pastor and second by Andrew Horne.
Landscape Report by Sandra Wilt:
Imperial replanting annuals that died due to accidental weeding spray leeching during service at no charge.
Community Oversight Committee Report by Larry Ort:
General info sheet for all homeowners (high-level review of CC&R, how to submit an ARB form, etc.) will be distributed within the next week or two to homeowners doors.
Will do the first walk together as group.
Old Business:
Fence extension ARB approved for buyers of Cottle home (1531 Hawkesbury, closed on 5/5/18). Board members should stop to introduce themselves. Sandra will take directory and CC&Rs.
New Business:
- Yard of the Month: Robert & June Bowers (1601 Malcolm Point Dr.)
- Yard Sale Follow-Up
o Ideas for what to do to help mitigate the traffic flow (police presence, cones, etc.)
o Plan volunteers ahead of time to help with traffic/yard sale coordination
o Look into partnering with non-profit for post-yard sale donations while residents have items out.
o Plan to discuss yard sale during annual meeting in March
- Tree at front of neighborhood
o Root system interfering with the wall, will continue to monitor options
