Tuscany HOA Board Meeting
Monday, January 11, 2016
(This was the meeting postponed from December)
Meeting was called to order at 6:30 PM
Board Member Attendees: Sandra Wilt, Rick Uhlman, Lori Jones, Robert Walker, Donna Horsley, Mike Pastor
Resident Attendees: Dexter & Sue Blois, Jeanne Yazinski
Absent: none
Old Business
- Minutes of last meeting(s) Mike was absent October and November and Sandra took minutes those two meetings.
- Lori: Treasurer's Report
Balance in Checking Account is $5,421.72
Balance in Savings Account is $36,427.64
2015 Actual Expenses were $32,135.79 versus Budget of $34,654.88
Proposed 2016 Budget reviewed and discussed
- Donna: Landscape Report
Electrical contractor needed for repairs for pond
Lawn maintenance will increase 2016
Hedge needs to be shortened by a foot or two
Resident's shrubs need trimming to address overgrowth into hedge
New Business
- Secure church for Annual H.O.A. Meeting on Monday, 03/07/2016
Mike Pastor to contact Pastor Mike (as of these minutes,yes, we have the church from 3/07/2016 from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM)
- Revised CC&Rs (Covenants, Conditions & Restrictions) were reviewed, discussed and recommended updates agreed to.
Non-operational vehicle violation: City of Winter Garden Code Enforcement was contacted and addressing the violation. Non-operational vehicles must be stored in enclosed structure out of sight.
- Fine Committee Florida Statute prohibits Fine Committee members from being HOA Board Members. Tentative volunteers are Lori Jones (after board membership term ends), Dexter Blois and Larry Ort.
- Next Steps in "No Rental" Violation: Sandra will contact attorney
- Neighborhood Garage Sale: Scheduled for the first weekend in April
