Board Meeting 01-19-2015
Meeting was called to order 6:30 p.m. at the home of Lori Jones (1631 Charlemagne Ct)
In Attendance Were: Sandra Wilt, Lori Jones, Mike Pastor, Donna Horsley, Robert Walker
Minutes of last meeting were approved.
Treasurer's report presented and approved
- Year to date our income is over budget (favorable) by $466.00
- Year to date our expenses are under budget (favorable) by $1,499.00
- The 2015 modified slightly to include an expense line item for Storage Rental (used to store HOA records, holiday decorations, etc.) The Maintenance expense was reduced/reallocated for Storage Rental.
Old Business:
- CC&R status report: Board unanimously approved CC&R Violation Letters will be mailed 4/01/2015.
- Yard of the Month nominees and selection process discussed. A quantity of six (6) Publix $10 gift cards would be purchased for Yard of the Month Awards.
- Landscape chair report: Donna -- Well was repaired. Sprinkler heads repaired. Pond weeds need spraying-arrangements will be made. Lights around pond and front entrance need to be evaluated and needs assessed.
- Deed Restrictions prohibit rental houses. Board unanimously approved pursuing legal action against violator.
New Business:
- Planning for annual meeting underway. Annual Meeting will be March 2 and 7:00 PM at Cornerstone Community Church located 1333 E Crown Point Road, Ocoee, FL (just a mere 4/10 of a mile from the entrance to Tuscany)
- Storage unit has been secured/finalized.
- 2015 Annual Dues collection is underway. All are due by 1/31/2015.
- Should former residents should continue to be members of the Tuscany FaceBook site? The Board unanimously agreed to remove non-residents and maintain the closed group as Residents Only.
- Record keeping was discussed. Printed (hardcopy) must be maintained in HOA files.
- Other issues none raised.
Next Board Meeting Monday, February 23rd at 6:30 PM at Sandra Wilt's home (1630 Victoria Way) All homeowners are welcome to attend. Subsequently a conflict shifted the meeting to Tuesday, February 24th at 6:30 PM (same location)
Meeting adjourned at 7:30 PM
